At the Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine blog yesterday, I wrote about being a stranger in a strange land (the UK). My short story, "The Oxford Tarts," is appearing in the March/April issue of their magazine. The setting is (no surprise here) Oxford, England, UK. The time period is the early 20th century. It's a departure for me to write an historical story, but that is what suited this particular case of detection. I hope you seek out the story (subscribe for home delivery, ask your librarian, or buy a copy in bookstores). For "The Oxford Tarts" and a ton of great reads in this issue.
