Event Dates 1. tentative Saturday, January 21, SinC-CV involvement in the Poe Birthday Bash at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum in Richmond -- our members usually have a table at this day long event. 2. Saturday, March 4, 1:00 – 4:00pm – Mysterypalooza Celebration and 30th Anniversary Party of the founding of national Sisters in Crime -- Henrico County Tuckahoe Library. The library has reserved the room for setup and then the event from 1-4. We have a $250 grant from National for this event as part of the SinC 30th Anniversary celebration. We’ll have a panel for about an hour or so, a meet and greet with food, and then a chance for anyone in our chapter to sell books and talk to our guests. We can pay the donation to the Friends of the Library out of our grant money. THIS IS ALSO SINC-CV 9am to noon CRITIQUE GROUP SATURDAY. Please consider making a day of it if you are already in town for Critique Group. Why not join the Critique Group for 2017 (they'll meet in January and February, too)? 3. Saturday, April 22 (Time TBD) – SinC-CV hosts national Author Jenny Milchman at Fountain Books -- this is part of national's program to send national speakers out to the chapters. ALSO ON APRIL 22 . . . 4. Saturday, April 22 -- Fountain Books is Sisters in Crime - Central Virginia's author location (5:00 to 7:00) for the first annual RVA Lit Crawl. It’s a citywide event with lots of stops and readings about RVA stories/novels. Fountain Books owner Kelly Justice has agreed to host SinC-CV for Jenny’s presentation and for the Lit Crawl, both on April 22. Thanks, Kelly!
