Audie Awards

2/19/2014

In a wonderful surprise, my second novel, 2009's Death and the Lit Chick, has been nominated for an Audie Award in the mystery category. It is wonderful to see the St. Just series getting this renewed attention - the books are coming out next year in British editions.

Davina Porter is the narrator up for this award and she is known for her fabulous and amusing interpretations. Here’s a link to the full press release: http://audiopubblog.wordpress.com/2014/02/18/19th-annual-audie-finalists-announced-in-twenty-nine-categories-winners-announced-at-the-audie-awards-gala-in-new-york-city-on-may-29th/

Winners are announced during BEA week; the event likely will be on the evening of May 29th in New York. Fingers crossed for Davina!

I am very honored and happy to announce that my mystery novel PAGAN SPRING has just been nominated for 2014 Agatha and Dilys awards.

The winner of the Dilys will be announced at Left Coast Crime in Monterey, California, in March. The winner of the Agatha for Best Contemporary Mystery will be announced in May at the Malice Domestic convention in Bethesda, Maryland.

Here is the full list of Dilys nominees, with thanks to
Robin of Aunt Agatha's bookstore, head of the Dilys Award Committee, for providing the list:
