The Village of Nether Monkslip

People ask where they can find the county of Monkslip. Sadly, it doesn't exist outside of the Max Tudor books. If it did, it would be wedged somewhere between Devon and Dorset, and the village of Nether Monkslip would be near the beautiful southwest coast of England.

There is, however, a beautiful, downloadable pdf map of Max Tudor's fictional village by the talented Rhys Davies to go with a description and the first two chapters of WICKED AUTUMN, the first Max Tudor mystery.

Also, a map of the grounds of Monkbury Abbey by Rhys Davies is available for download in three formats (see links below). This was the ancient abbey featured in A DEMON SUMMER:
