I was just in my local coffee shop and they were talking about putting up bookshelves. When asked what kind of books I thought should go on the shelves, guess what I said?
Then I confessed that I write mysteries. But they still think that's the way they will go, with emphasis perhaps on coffee shop mysteries, wine mysteries, pastry mysteries. In which case, I will have a TON of recommendations of friends' books. ;-) Just learned official publication dates have been set for THE WASHING AWAY OF WRONGS (Max Tudor #8). The series will continue in September 2023 (UK) and January 2024 (US) from HACHETTE / LITTLE, BROWN.
Richard Osman. Anthony Horowitz. Ruth Ware. Need them to have new books out soon! Nothing is grabbing my attention right now.
This one is set in Oxford. Please visit my website gmmalliet . com to sign up for my newsletter. All will be revealed in the Spring issue.
I double-checked all the usual sites, because supply chain issues are still holding things up for a few writer friends of mine. The second Augusta Hawke is really here, there, and everywhere you buy books. For example:
